The NEW Cooperative Foundation recently presented a check totaling $2,500 to the City of West Bend for their swimming pool splash pad project. Gary Moritz, Communications Director at NEW Cooperative, and Chris Montag, NEW West Bend Location Manager, were on hand for the presentation.

“The new splash pad will replace the current wading pool and will be a great addition to our city pool,” said West Bend Council Member Brooke Winkelhorst. “Our pool has been an important part of summer activities in our community. With the addition of the new splash pad, area families will continue to enjoy the West Bend pool for years to come.”

NEW Cooperative Communications Director, Gary Moritz, said the cooperative was happy to support the project. “Accessing funding to make improvements to update community projects in small towns can sometimes be challenging. Providing support to our local communities is important to us and we look forward to seeing the results of this project when it is completed.”
