NEW Cooperative Donates to the Lohrville Fire Department
To Help Fund New Air Packs for Volunteer Firemen
Lohrville, IA- The NEW Cooperative Foundation is pleased to present a donation to the Lohrville Fire Department. Lohrville Fire Department will be using the funds to purchase new air packs for Lohrville’s volunteer firemen. The updated air packs enable firemen to work longer without needing to change out bottles of air. There are also numerous safety upgrades included with the new air packs such as: status lighting, heads-up displays in the masks, and better voice amplification for much improved communication.
Recently, Gary Moritz, NEW Cooperative Communications Director, Holly Reicks, NEW Communications Specialist, and Joe Parker, Lohrville Agronomy Sales Specialist representing the NEW Cooperative Foundation along with the Land O’ Lakes presented a check to members of the Lohrville Fire Department in the total amount of $10,000.
