NEW Cooperative Donates to Pomeroy Community Betterment


The NEW Cooperative Foundation is pleased to present a donation to the Pomeroy Community Betterment to assist with the funding for the Veteran’s Park Improvement Project.

On Monday, December 23, 2019, Gary Moritz, NEW Cooperative’s Communications Director representing the NEW Cooperative Foundation along with the Land O’Lakes Foundation presented checks to the Pomeroy Community Betterment in the total amount of $2,000.00.

The Pomeroy Community Betterment is a small group of community members who volunteer their time towards community improvements. The Veteran’s Park Improvement Project is just one of the many projects they have done for the community. The project will include upgrading and adding granite pillars to the Veterans Park, this will continue to be a great asset for the town of Pomeroy and the surrounding area and will be a great way to recognize all Veterans in the area.
