NEW Cooperative Donates to Pocahontas Community Projects Fund
To help fund improvement projects to Elbert Park
Pocahontas, IA- On Thursday, April 29, 2021, Gary Moritz, NEW Cooperative Communications Director, presented a check to the Pocahontas Community Projects Fund for the amount of $2,500 to help fund improvements to Elbert Park in Pocahontas.
The donation will be used to assist in purchasing new playground equipment for the park. Elbert park is used by many families in the area for youth sports and gathers. Updating equipment will be beneficial and safe for all the families who use the park in the county.
