The Arcadia Fire Department recently received a contribution from the NEW Cooperative Foundation totaling $2,000. The funds will be put towards the department’s building remodel, which will include a meeting room and restrooms for the Arcadia Fire Department members.

“We have been fundraising to help pay for the remodel of the building. The addition of a meeting room will be a great benefit to our department for meetings and trainings to be held on site and it will also provide a place for the community to go in a time of need,” said Wes Bierl, Arcadia Fire Department Treasurer.

“NEW Cooperative is happy to assist help with the remodel of the Arcadia Fire Department building,” stated NEW Cooperative Foundation Director, Gary Moritz. “We are happy to lend a helping hand in their fundraising efforts by giving $2,000 contribution.”
