FEED ACCOUNTING CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSOCIATE

Location: Fort Dodge

Classification: Full-time

Description: Provides high-quality customer service in a professional and positive manner. Accounting responsibilities related to maintenance and reporting of accounting data. Detailed and analytical processes that maximize departmental effectiveness and achieves the cooperative’s goals.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Include but are not limited to the following:

Order Processing:

  • Process feed orders in an accurate and timely manner
  • Invoice customers
  • Processes transfers

Accounting/Reporting:

  • Transactions prepared and processed timely and accurately
  • Customer Reports and Analysis

Customer Service:

  • Service-oriented
  • Assist customers with issues and concerns. Redirects as needed
  • Positive attitude, friendly, courteous, and helpful
  • Works well under pressure

Efficiency:

  • Uses time and resources efficiently
  • Process Improvement
  • Possesses problem-solving capability and understands operational processes
  • Ability to multi-task

General Duties:

  • Cross-trained in other areas of the department
  • Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements:

  • Proven accounting experience or equivalent Associate’s degree in Accounting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
