         Data Processing/Customer Service

  • Perform data entry and the processing of agronomic recommendations
  • Analyze data to provide accurate recommendations
  • Support development and implementation of new computer projects and new hardware installations.
  • Provide other support activities to our client/customer base
  • Assist in preparing, maintaining, and installing dispatch in-cab equipment
  • Accurately document instances of hardware failure, repair, installation, and removal.
  • Assist in developing long-term strategies and capacity planning for meeting future computer hardware needs.

Preferred Qualifications & Requirements:

  • 1 – 3 years applied agronomy experience including fertilizer/nutrient, chemical and seed recommendations or college degree equivalent
  • Demonstrates GIS software expertise when interacting with growers
  • Capable of providing group presentations and related communications
  • Demonstrate great interest serving in Ag Retail
  • General understanding including the use of precision hardware operation and calibration
  • Must be able to prepare concise, accurate written technical documents to communicate clearly with all levels of management, employees, and growers

  • Develop an understanding and ability to blend grain to optimal grade factors utilizing the working knowledge of the grain inventory.
  • Ensure that all grain quality meets expected quality standards and is maintained.
  • Maintain communication with all persons concerned regarding grain quality and inventory
  • Responsible for the load out of grain to trucks and trains at correct weights and grade.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Include but not limited to the following:

  • Maintain a safe work environment as outlined by NEW Cooperative’s policies and procedures
  • Assist in loading and unloading of vehicles based on work orders
  • Operate post spraying equipment, tender trucks, other application equipment, and NH3 equipment
  • Assist in maintenance of equipment
  • Operate a semi-truck in the off-season
  • Assist in other areas of location during the off-season

Job Requirements:

  • Must be licensed and insurable to drive
  • Must have or be able to obtain a Class A CDL with tanker and HazMat endorsements
  • Must have or be able to obtain a Commercial Applicator’s License
  • Understand the importance of providing very high levels of customer service
  • Understand the seasonality of the farm supply business and the in-season time commitment
  • Good computer skills
  • Must be able to interact and effectively communicate with customers and individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Must have problem-solving skills as well as being self-motivated
  • Self – starter
  • Demonstrate great interest serving in the agricultural industry
